Nothing is more likely to get you in the mood for the festive season than Christmas markets.With exactly 40 (!) days left until Christmas, we wanted to round up the very best of the best.
According to Big 7 Travel, many people now choose to make a weekend trip out of visiting Christmas markets around the world, from traditional markets in Europe to other fairs dotted across the US. A quick city break to get some shopping in, have a few drinks and soak up the festive delights.
Most of the markets kick off in late November, with many running until early January.

Budapest has been a permanent player on lists like these in recent years, so it is no surprise that it came in 23rd place, which is quite flaterring considering the number of Christmas markets all over the world.
